FIB Unair students have again succeeded in proving their academic quality, one of which is through the IISMA 2023 program. IISMA is one of the programs promoted by the Ministry of Education and Culture in the form of a full scholarship to study on overseas campuses for one semester.

The IISMA program is intended for undergraduate students in semesters 4 and 6 when registering, but the program's implementation will take place in semesters 5 and 7.

In 2023, five students passed the selection program (Indonesian International Mobility Award) IISMA 2023. Two people are from the class of 2021, and three people are from the class of 2020.

One of the classes of 2020 students who passed IISMA is Raselly Elfa Putri. She is an outstanding student at FIB Unair. Apart from that, she is also an active student. Previously, she also participated in PMM (Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka) activities at the Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2022.

Raselly explained that on her way to pass IISMA, she had made a lot of careful preparations. "I prepared for IISMA for about a year. So in 2022, I enrolled in this program but was declared unsuccessful. However, from this failure, I learned many things about preparing for English tests, essays, and interviews," she said.

In registering for IISMA, Raselly chose two universities: one at Palacky University Olomouc and two at Sapienza University of Rome. As for her, she managed to qualify for her first choice. She explained that she chose the university because of its attractive course offerings.

Raselly expressed her feelings for having succeeded in realizing her dream of passing IISMA. "I feel happy and grateful. This all happened not because of me but because of God's will, which gave a beautiful destiny in the form of answers from my journey for the past year."

In the process of participating in IISMA, Raselly also hopes to be able to contribute to Indonesia by getting a good return from the IISMA's investment. Therefore, during the program, She will increase her self-motivation by participating in activities outside the classroom. This was done to increase relations and deepen his understanding of the Czech Republic.
