On Saturday, June 9 2018, EDSA
conducted ‘TOEFL AKBAR’ at Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Airlangga. The
event was arranged by Research and Academic Development Division of EDSA along
with TAF English. About 100 participants joined the event, they were
students from Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Economic
and Business, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and other faculties of Universitas Airlangga.
Furthermore, the event was divided
into two sessions; TOEFL Training and TOEFL Test. The first session, TOEFL
Training, was begun at 8 am, where the participants were taught by TAF English tutors
about how to enhance TOEFL score. Not only did they learn English, but they
also got motivation in order to successfully accomplish the desired TOEFL
score. After the training session, the participants were challenged to do TOEFL
test in two hours. The test consisted of Listening, Structures, and Reading
Sections.
After the test, once again the participants were motivated to keep learning English so that they could continue their education abroad, pursue their dream career, and gain more achievements. The event was closed at 1 pm by representatives of TAF English and EDSA. Finally, EDSA would like to express our gratitude to all parties who had participated and contributed in the event.
